LEEDS TENANTS FEDERATION

Leeds Tenants Federation asked us to help establish a new network to give people and groups in 11 council areas in North and West Yorkshire a voice in the big decisions about local housing, transport, employment, skills, regeneration and other public services.

We mapped and contacted residents and community groups in all 11 council areas and held a study visit and open event to hear about local people’s views and how they wanted the new network to influence things.

We worked with our partners from Planning for Real to help people plot their priorities on a giant map of the Leeds City Region.

The Network now gives local people a seat at the table for all future decisions about housing and regeneration throughout the region.
