Career history:

Jacquie is a strategic communications specialist with almost 20 years’ experience in the local government, health and housing sectors.


A former journalist and a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Jacquie has a background of leading marketing, communications and graphic design projects from both client and agency side. She joined The Bridge Group in 2003 from a unitary authority where, as Corporate Communications Manager, she led a team of 21 staff and managed a budget of £800,000.


Since working with The Bridge Group, Jacquie has led more than a dozen client accounts including bpha, CBS, Cambridgeshire Partnerships, bpas and Coventry Partnership, as well as assisting colleagues on a host of others. Just some of her achievements during that time have included supporting clients to achieve record turnover, win the Government’s Cambridge Challenge, run major events and develop and roll out new brands; she also managed a £300K communications and marketing contract ensuring delivery was on time, on budget and on message.


Jacquie has also bagged national awards, run a £1.8 million fundraising campaign and most recently studied creative writing at the University of Oxford.
