NEW YEAR, BIG CHANGES

There are some major changes and proposals sweeping through the housing sector. Providers need to be on top of things and actively thinking about and explaining what these mean to customers.

Our Senior Consultant, Ian Hembrow, has produced this handy five-minute screencast with slides and a commentary covering all the key parts of the Government’s new housing strategy, the proposed reforms to regulation of social housing, the Localism Act and welfare reforms.

Many of these changes are due to take effect from April 2012, so time is short to assess the impact on your business and make sure residents know how changes might affect them.
